Position Overview
RF Test Engineer to support the development of MRPC products. The candidate will support the execution of product development with a specialization in wireless technology for both sustaining and new product development.
Candidate would work as part of a highly integrated, very experienced team, in a dynamic environment that may occasionally involve working on more than one project simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day test lab activities.
- Troubleshoot and isolate test system issues.
- Help separate test-setup issues from product issues.
- Interface with the design team to implement new test requirements.
- Analyze test data.
Desired Education & Experience Level
Bachelor of Science in related field
Desired work experience is 5 or more years.
Desired Specific Skills & Experience
A Must:
- Familiarity with BLE and 2.4GHz band FCC regulations
- Understanding of antenna lobe patterns and matching as related to antenna placement within a system.
- Link Margin analysis.
- Design of test protocols
- Spectral analysis
- Vector Network analysis.
- Noise measurement and EMC chamber testing
- Ability to do RF impedence matching.
- Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word…)
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
