Position Overview

RF Test Engineer to support the development of MRPC products.  The candidate will support the execution of product development with a specialization in wireless technology for both sustaining and new product development.

Candidate would work as part of a highly integrated, very experienced team, in a dynamic environment that may occasionally involve working on more than one project simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day test lab activities.
• Troubleshoot and isolate test system issues.
• Help separate test-setup issues from product issues.
• Interface with the design team to implement new test requirements.
• Analyze test data.

Desired Education & Experience Level

Bachelor of Science in related field

Desired work experience is 5 or more years.

Desired Specific Skills & Experience

A Must:

• Familiarity with BLE and 2.4GHz band FCC regulations
• Understanding of antenna lobe patterns and matching as related to antenna placement within a system.
• Link Margin analysis.
• Design of test protocols
• Spectral analysis
• Vector Network analysis.
• Noise measurement and EMC chamber testing
• Ability to do RF impedence matching.
• Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word…)
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
